Getting her Masters

Ericka is a good friend. Our sons play together for pop warner football. This little mini session was done right after a weekday practice. She such a sweet lady inside and out. Congrats on getting your masters!

Adorable Christiansens!

While I am not officially seeking clients, I do still do a photo session from time to time. Here is a preview of the Christiansens. They are so adorable...too cute for words! They are so well behaved, too. Love them. Enjoy friends.

VonGuntens - Family Photography, William Jewell College, Liberty Missouri

William Jewell is such a fun place for a photo session. The hill of flowers, the romantic fountain, the playful swing in the tree...there's a lot of opportunity. The VonGuntens are a great family and fun to do a session with as well. Their daughter is full of personality and their son is definately a mover and shaker. Young families are always fun.

Flodens: Family Photography, Loose Park, Kansas City, MO

Some of my best friends, this family is always fun to photograph, and always willing to try new locations. Although June seems to be the best month for roses at Loose Park, July still had some nice blossoms and we were blessed with cool weather. It started raining on our short drive down, but by the time we arrived at the park, it was completely dry and the sun had retured. Got to love weather!

Next Top Model, Children's Session, Loose Park, Kansas City, Missouri

Watch out Tyra Banks, Kyndal is definitely America's Next Top Model Material... in 2015 that is! This little cutie KNOWS instinctively how to pose. It's amazing! I would suggest a pose and then after I got a few shots, she would mix it up beautifully! We had a great time! What a beautiful girl with sparkling blue eyes. She was a photographer's dream! - Enjoy! This Sweet Little Lady: Children Photography, Liberty Missouri

This lovely little lady just turned 4 and we had a great time documenting her new year. I've had a wonderful time photographing her through out the years. I had the opportunity of taking one of her first professional photos when she was adopted and brought to her home with her awesome family here in the states. Kenzie is still the sassy, fun girl that I've come to expect from her pictures. I love this first one. She's just a real-life doll!

Morgan Kids - Children Photography, Shoal Creek Golf Course, Liberty Missouri

This is such a great family. I've had the pleasure of doing four sessions with them throughout the years and I look forward to them each season. I can't believe how grown up they are getting. Their oldest is such a sweet, responsible young lady....and I remember when she was a little girl in primary. Wow how time flies! Each of their children are unique and special, but they all have a common bond of coming from such a good, strong family. We had a super time during this session, and were grateful for the mild temperatures in June. I'm especially grateful as we've had thunderstorms pretty much every day this week, so to have my photo day blessed with such good weather is just well, incredible! I think the parents were worried that the boys might get muddy or splashed by the water before we could get our shots, but being a mom of the two craziest boys this side of the river, well, I didn't mind their love of wood chips, tad poles and skipping rocks across the water.
By the way, let me explain the random cow shot. This is the scene for me as I drive home from most photo sessions by my house. We are so lucky that our neighbors are these darling cows. We actually name them (well, you never know if we've seen the same cows twice, but we like to pretend). As I was driving home from the shoot (the 2 minute drive) I saw these cows and the way the sky looked so blue and stormy and the way the light was giving them halos and well, I had to stop and snap a few shots. People driving down the parkway thought I was crazy, I'm sure, as well as the dear, sweet cows. I could see worry in many of their large eyes -- the cows, that is.
