You Asked - Ye Shall Receive!

I've had a lot of people ask for digital pictures of their sessions to put on their blog, and I'm proud to announce, that your wish is granted!

Here is the official red tape:

For very picture you order from your session you will receive a low-res blog pix to add to your blog, email, or whatever. These pictures are not high quality and cannot be printed, but can be added to your blog, facebook, myspace page or any digital format.

If you have had a session in 2008 and did not receive blog pix of your session, email me and I'll get to you asap!

Photography isn't supposed to be so fun!

The Matson's really made my job, well, not a job. They are such a fun familiy, that I really feel like taking their picture is a pleasure...and they pay me! Woohoo!

Their personalities are as bold as the colors of their shirts. I think it shows from these pictures, too. It was a pleasure and I hope to "work" for you guys again!

The Adorable Arnolds

We had a fun time working the Arnolds. They had the most incredible backyard to work with, and the fountain in the front. Wow. The backdrop, though, was easily overshadowed with the cute kids! What beautiful blue eyes and white-blonde hair. They have German ancestry, and I think you can tell. I love the baby, too. He is just at the perfect age of smiles and coos. Do you think they would miss him? I could use a third! Just kidding, guys!

Enjoy!

The Lost Photo

I was trying to show a client this picture today, and I realized I forgot to put it on the blog with the others from the Floden session.

This was the mom's idea, and I think it was very charming. It nows adorns their dining room. I love this shot so much, that I want to hang it in my house!

The Hales Preview

Cute little family visiting their family here in KC, saw pictures I took of their family and urged me to take these photos the day before they left to go back home. They are a super sweet and obedient bunch of kids. I think the little girl is just breath-taking!

I said they were obedient because many of you who have sat through my children sessions before have met my trusted assistant - Pepe the Puppy Puppet. Well, usually I can't stop the laughs from my subjects as they watch Pepe kiss me and as I object in a silly (French) voice. Not this group. When I had Pepe try to kiss their mom, I didn't get the unusual shierks of delight. Instead, Pepe was warned to "stop kissing Mommy. It's not nice." Although I didn't get the usual laugher that makes for great kids photos, I was impressed at how the kids stood up for their mom and they obeyed her. Way to go Hales Kids! We got some cute pictures anyway :o) Poor Pepe! I need to take a picture of him someday for my friends and blog readers who are still wondering who Pepe is!

Back from France!

We had a wonderful time in France (and a few days in London) and I have SOOOOO many pictures (of course) to share with you. But, as the good photographer I am, you're going to have to wait as I keep up with my backlog of photo proofs and orders.....sorry! I'm disappointed too!
