Viva la France

I will be out of the office and off to France (ooh, la la!) for the next two weeks. Check back on the week of the 11th for some amazing photos.

I will not be taking phone calls and may take some limited email messages. Thanks for your patience.

Au revoir until then!

Beautiful Caralee

Wow, I've been so busy, that I haven't updated a lot of recent sessions. This is Caralee. She is beautiful inside and out. She has the most awesome older sister, too. Her sister Caetie took her on a shopping spree (see outfits and assessories), did her hair and makeup, and hired me to do her very own photoshoot. What a great idea to do for a younger sister out visiting for the week. After spending the hour with these two sisters, it's hard to believe there is so many years between them since they act like best friends. Enjoy!

I Heart the Flodens - Preview from Session

I just love the Floden girls. They are so beautiful and photogenic....and I think it's fair to say they loved Pepe as well! It's good to know that Pepe the kissing dog puppet is back in action after meeting his match at our last session. Enjoy the preview shots at the beautiful Antioch Park.

Hauser Family Session Sneak Peek

The Hauser Family is so fun. Their little ones are just gorgeous with their porcelain skin and beautiful blue eyes. The mom and dad aren't half bad, either :o)

We risked a Thunderstorm Warning and some very scary clouds (where's Channel 9 Pete Grigsby when you need him?!) to get these amazing shots. An extra big thank you to mom and dad who went out of their way to help me get little C to smile. Who knew some fake falling would do the trick? Enjoy!

The Adorable Shaw Family

The Shaw Family is just too adorable. They have the cutest four little girls you've ever seen and each comes with her own look and personality. (I think the Dad is out numbered!) These little super models were real pros. They not only take excellent pictures, but they also helped me distract their baby sister long enough to snap some good portraits of her! Thanks Ladies!

Senior Shoot - Alex

Alex is right around the corner from graduating and we were glad to take his senior pictures. He and his mom Kim are so fun to work with. Doesn't he have the most gorgeous blue eyes?! I also loved how adventurous Alex was. I've been wanting to shoot in this old "junk yard" (actually it's an antique store, really?) close by. The first shots are at Hodge Park, and the later ones are at the junk yard. Thanks Alex! It was so fun! I'd honk for you, too :o)

P.S. If you recognize Alex, he and his group were finalist in the Oreo Jingle and performed in Times Square. Check them out in YouTube! Here's a link to their website, too: KychnSynk.com

Michelle and Pete

Michelle and Pete are such an adorable couple. They're as hilariously funny as they are beautiful together. Michelle kept me laughing the whole time. Pete was a trooper as he was working on less than two hours of sleep. Poor dear! We did some studio shoots before venturing out to Hodge Park.

We were lucky, these flowers bloomed over the weekend.

Love, love, love how playful and cute they are with each other.

This grouping of trees was Michelle's idea. It's such a nice little canopy for this couple shot. Way to go Michelle!

They really loved this old barn, and I think these two are some of my favorites of the day -- the first out of the box when we ventured out on location. We kept thinking we were going to find a snake....ssssss.....luckily not this day!

A perfect ending to our shoot. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect sunset. Thanks Pete! I guess it helps to do photoshoots with a meteorologist. You're our favorite weatherman!
