Brianna's Senior Session Preview

Fall means it's time for senior pictures. Senior pictures are a refreshing change from younger children, although, I appreciate the different age groups for their unique characteristics!
Brianna is my senior rep for Liberty High School this year. She's so awesome! She passed out fliers, collected names, and even created a Facebook group for Friends of Lori Garcia Photograpy. Like I said, she's so awesome! For all her hardwork, Brianna's not left empty handed. She is getting complimentary sessions, some prints and a gift card. Not too shabby, huh?

We planned to go to Hodge Park -- a popular place for senior picts, but the park was closed for its annual fall festival set-up last Friday night. Necessity being the mother of invention, we headed for a new location - William Jewell College. By the end of the session, though, we were actually glad Hodge Park was closed. The treed leafy lawns, rocks walls, fountains (complete with pink water -- I think it's a tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness Month) and flowered hills by the quaint, little church, have made this a new favorite spot for photo sessions.
Enjoy!

Tilley Family Session Preview

We planned to take these pictures at Hodge Park, but we're pleasantly suprized when it was closed for an event and we had to take them at William Jewel College. They have some beautiful treed lawns and their little chapel on campus has a hill of flowers to die for. The little church even had a fountain, which we guessed the water was tinted pink for October's Breast Cancer Awareness month or was a fraternity prank -- you guess!). The Tilleys are an awesome family that we see every day at the bus stop and my husband sees KT at work every day. Aren't they just adorable! We even got Q (an accomplished Hallmark Model who didn't want to smile) to crack a few smirks!

Enjoy!

Handsome Boys

These crazy handsome boys are probably my hardest to photograph. I wonder why?..... Don't you love these pictures at Tryst Falls. Very appropriate for boys.

I don't like the lighting on his nose, but we'll redo these on the close ups.

Niki's Extended Family Session Preview

We had so much fun with Niki's family a while back, that we decided to do an extended family session with her parents and siblings. What a great family they are! The kids were so well behaved and the parents were awesome to work with. As a photographer, you kind of get nervous with so many people (especially kiddos) but it went suprisingly well and its the people that made the difference. My only regret is that I didn't get to go to dinner with them afterwards! Dinner for 16? Enjoy the preview!

Myrtle's Session - Preview

What a sweet lady! Myrtle currently lives with her son and daughter-in-law. She is such a sweet, mild mannered woman, with a good sense of humor and matching smile. Love the pink dress! It was a pleasure.
Enjoy!

The Dietricks Couple Session

The Dietricks have the most beautiful woodsy backyard. It is the envy of all of their neighbors, of which I am one of. They also have the best tomatoes, killer 4th of July BBQ parties and are just the best neighors to have your block. That, and they take a good picture, too. What great sports they were with mosquitos biting us so!

Enjoy!
